The wedding morning for Nhi and Rodney began with a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony. Complete with loud firecrackers, traditional gifts, and an intimate, heartfelt gathering surrounded by their closest family. After the ceremony, there was a light cocktail hour where everyone laughed, celebrated, and simply enjoyed the moment with the couple.
Then we headed out for a walk through downtown Sacramento with the bridal party. There was so much laughter, hugs, dancing right in the streets, and of course - the “first look,” that special moment when they saw each other in their classic wedding attire. It was beautiful, emotional, and felt so real.
And in the evening things really took off! An epic party at the restaurant with dancing, heartfelt toasts, hugs, and the total freedom to just be themselves. Everyone danced like it was the last night on Earth. And it was incredible. Nhi and Rodney have been together for 15 years. And this day turned out exactly how they dreamed it: joyful, vibrant, and full of love.

This couple are true fans of speed, cars, and adrenaline. We quickly realized that a classic park stroll just wouldn’t suit them. So we planned our first meeting and engagement shoot in the mountains, with breathtaking views, open roads, and of course, their favorite car. The wind, the wide open space, the roar of the engine, and that feeling of freedom, it all perfectly captured the energy of their relationship. We shot against the backdrop of the mountains, caught the real thrill of the moment, and ended up with not only epic photos but also a genuinely fun experience together.
